The Openness Factor is a measurement of how much light is let in. Styles with a 0% Openness Factor are completely opaque and block light completely. Solar Transmittance is thermal energy emitted by the sun. Styles with a higher ST level allow more heat in.
Sheerweave's light-filtering qualities diffuse light, reduce glare and help control solar heat gain to make any room a more comfortable environment. As Sheerweave filters and diffuses light, it also helps reduce the fading of textiles and interior furnishings. Darker fabrics are ideal for viewing computer and television screens.
Aesthetics
Sheerweave shades are constructed of vinyl coated fiberglass and are available in a variety of designer colours and weave openness. Excellent heat and glare control without losing your view.
